JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development and coordination of a risk management program

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your relevant B degree plus experience in the financial services industry will assist you in the following responsibilities:Responsible for the development and coordination of a risk management program and to ensure that the risk management programmes are designed to identify risk exposures at a process level. Perform regular risk and control self-assessment to determine the residual risk which must be controlled by means of internal control measures. Through the proper implementation of risk assessment programmes, management must be provided with accurate risk information for effective decision-making on internal controls. Collect risk information and draft reports to management on losses and risk exposures.

Designing and implementing an overall risk management framework process, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur

Preparing risk management and combined assurance plans and budgets

Performing a risk assessment and analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company

Preparing action plans to decrease risk factors

Review and update the Groups Risk appetite and tolerance framework

Risk reporting to the Board, Audit and Risk Committee and the Group Management Board

Educating the board of directors and management about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks
