SUMMARY: One of the JSE listed financial group is looking for an enthusiastic RPG developer to join their team to improve the lifetime Financial Wellness of people, their communities, and their businesses.
POSITION INFO:
Education:
• BSc or BCom (preferably in Information Technology)
Experience:• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in RPG programming preferably in financial houses• Experience in structured programming • Experience with RPG/RPGLE; DB2 and I series accreditation will be preferred• Experience with the Operating system of iSeries • Strong understanding of RPG/RPGLE and DB2• Experience in Financial and economic principlesSkills:• Employee benefits industry• Risk and investment products• System project life cycle• Quality conscious• Responsibility and ownership• Willingness to learn• Sense of urgency• Integrity• Proactive approach• Share knowledge in team
