SUMMARY:
A national FMCG manufacturer based in Pinetown is looking for a Raw Materials Buyer to join their fast paced and on time focused time

POSITION INFO:

The role requires a Raw Materials Buyer with at least 3 years buying and planning experience, raw materials buying being key. Advanced Excel and MS Office coupled with a completed Procurement degree or diploma as well as strong numeracy is further requirements for this role. The role will suit an individual that has experience in working in manufacturing, packaging or retail environments. Some of the duties for this position includes coordinating plans for transportation, ensuring sufficient raw materials to fulfil orders, expediting with customers on deliveries, monitor slow moving stock, liaise with sales, planning and production teams on schedules and monitoring stock levels daily and monthly. The successful candidate for this role will be able to work under pressure, have strong communication skills and be able to interact and make tough decisions.
