Real Estate Attorney and Conveyancer
We are seeking a Senior Real Estate Attorney and Conveyancer. Must be able to work in a fast paced, legal environment and under pressure.
The main purpose of this position would be to provide conveyancing services, head and manage the conveyancing department.

Key Performance Areas

• Maintaining of Bank panels, ensuring all interests of the majors banks are protected;
• Attending to transfers from inception up to lodgment & registration. Inclusive of drafting & preparing all documents relating to property
• Drafting & Preparing all manner of bond documents, inclusive of lodgment &
• Drafting & preparing all manner of Notarial documentation, notarial bonds, pledges, cessions
• Finalizing finances on files & reconciliation of accounts, guarantees
• Drafting and preparing all manner of commercial documents in relation to bond registrations e.g. Suretyships, Cessions, Pledges etc., together with commercial property transfers
• Advising banks and commercial institutions on risk mitigation in relation to security;
• Drafting, preparing and advising commercial clients in respect of commercial agreements in relation to property related
• Commercial Development experience;
• Experience with transactions both in respect of commercial and residential

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
• Admitted Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa
• Admitted as a Notary Public
• Proficient with Ghost convey and E4
• 10 years plus post admission experience
