SUMMARY:
Receiving Supervisor Centurion

POSITION INFO:

The purpose of a Receiving Supervisor is to ensure that all goods entering and exiting a business premises are recorded accurately and efficiently

•

This includes overseeing the unloading of goods from suppliers, checking their accuracy and quality, and properly recording any discrepancies

•

The Receiving Supervisor is also responsible for managing the inventory control system, verifying invoices, and ensuring that all goods are delivered to the correct storage locations

•

Additionally, the Receiving Supervisor works to ensure the safety of all personnel by ensuring that all safety procedures are adhered to during the unloading and storage of goods.

Manage and coordinate staff in the receiving department

•

Ensure staff are following established procedures and policies

•

Perform quality checks on incoming shipments

•

Inspect and document any damaged products

•

Ensure that all orders are accurately received and recorded

•

Handle customer inquiries and complaints

•

Train and develop staff

•

Oversee security of stock and warehouse

•

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers

•

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience

•

Experience with CRM system e.g. SAP

•

Experience in the IT/ICT Industry

•

Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management

•

Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment

•

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks

•

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

•

Physically able to lift up to 23kg
