Receptionist – Johannesburg

A well-established company within the professional skincare industry is seeking a professional, well-presented and client-focused Receptionist to join their team in Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area, front-desk duties and general office administration. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to provide an excellent client experience while supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage front-desk duties, including answering calls, responding to enquiries and directing queries appropriately
• Coordinate bookings, appointments and the reception calendar
• Process payments and maintain accurate financial and administrative records
• Assist with stock control, product orders and inventory administration
• Compile monthly sales, income and stock reports
• Perform general office administration, including emails, filing, record-keeping and daily administrative support
• Build strong client relationships and support the promotion of services and products where required
• Provide administrative support to management when needed

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ receptionist, front desk or administrative experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage administrative and financial processes effectively
• Professional, reliable, proactive and accountable
• Experience with ESP software would be advantageous
