SUMMARY:
Our client in Paarl a Engineering company is looking for a Receptionist.

The Ideal candidate would be someone who is professional, organised, friendly, confident on the phone, good with people, accurate with administration and comfortable working in a corporate environment.

POSITION INFO:
Main responsibilities Manage the reception area professionally and act as the first point of contact. Welcome and register visitors and issue visitor access where required. Operate the company switchboard and handle incoming calls. Take and distribute telephone messages accurately. Respond to general enquiries and direct queries to the correct department. Receive, sort, record and distribute mail, parcels and courier deliveries. Coordinate courier collections when required. Schedule and manage boardroom bookings. Keep the reception\/front desk clean, organised and professional. Perform general administration such as: Filing Scanning Photocopying Printing Document preparation Maintaining registers and records Capture and update reception information on relevant systems. Provide administrative support to employees and departments. Deliver friendly, professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain confidentiality. Follow company policies and reception procedures. Report maintenance, housekeeping or security concerns. Perform other reception-related duties assigned by management. Requirements \/ Skills Grade 12 (Matric) - required. Office\/Business Administration, Customer Service or related qualification is advantageous. 2-3 years' experience in reception\/front desk work. Experience operating a multi-line switchboard. Corporate\/professional environment experience advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication. Professional telephone etiquette. Strong customer-service orientation. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
