Reconciliation Clerk

If you have extensive Financial Reconciliation and Settlement experience, this job could be perfect for you!

Your key job responsibilities as the Reconciliation Clerk in Johannesburg will include:

• Liaising with both receivers and collectors for clarification on recon & settlement discrepancies
• Assist Sales department with relevant financial and transactional reports as required.
• Attend Daily Operational Meeting to discuss issues currently affecting the business
• Review and sign all Manual Payment requisitions
• Implementing processes to streamline the department to achieve the following:
• Daily reconciliation of all prepaid electricity receivers and collectors
• Daily reconciliation of all bill payment receivers and collectors
• Daily reconciliation for airtime for third party collectors and suppliers
• Daily reconciliation of the website and mobile app for all transactions
• Checking of cash books on a weekly basis for import
• Reconciliation back to the bank statements for receivers and collectors
• Management of claims for receivers and collectors
• Liaising with both receivers and collectors for clarification on recon & settlement discrepancies
• Monitor and reassign all work requests, logged via PGS, to the relevant team members

Requirements for this Reconciliation Clerk job in Johannesburg:

• Matric
• Relevant course, relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
• Accounting
• Financial Reconciliation and Settlement
• 5 years related experience.
• Business Analyst Background (Advantageous)
• Experience in the gaming industry preferred
