Reconciliations Trustees Operator / Reconciliations Administrator

SUMMARY:
Location: Heerengracht The Towers, CNR Hertzog Boulevard and Heerengracht street, Cape Town

Contract Duration: 6 months

To lead, manage and guide an assigned team in the day-to-day operational duties an assigned reconciliations team, , and manage any complex breaks, queries or escalations, to ensure resources are effectively allocated, all entries are matched, and breaks are timeously resolved. Perform reconciliations where required.

POSITION INFO:
Experience

• People with experience working in a back office (Apex, Curo), Asset Managers and Collective investment scheme experience.
• Previous back office experience working within a financial services industry, or asset manager
• Intermediate knowledge of financial instruments, and relevant experience within the CIS (Collective investment schemes) industry.
• Relevant reconciliations knowledge and experience, with a broad understanding of fund accounting and reconciliations systems, processes and procedures to perform reconciliations, as well as understanding key financial concepts and practices.
• Previous experience in building relationships and engaging with clients to gather required information, documentation and resolve queries.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to meet daily / monthly targets.
