SUMMARY:
A well-established logistics company based in Middelburg is seeking a driven and experienced Recruitment Consultant to manage national talent acquisition across both blue- and white-collar roles.

This is a hands-on role suited to a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and understands the complexities of logistics workforce planning.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end national recruitment (drivers, fleet, warehouse, technical, and support staff)
Source and place high-volume blue-collar talent as well as specialist and management roles
Conduct screening, competency-based interviews, and reference checks
Manage criminal, credit, qualification, and driver verification checks
Coordinate medicals, inductions, and onboarding processes
Arrange and track training interventions for drivers (e.g., PDP, safety, compliance training)
Support workforce planning and operational hiring demands
Maintain recruitment reporting and compliance documentation

Requirements:

3–5+ years’ recruitment experience (logistics, transport, or industrial sectors preferred)
Proven experience recruiting drivers and operational staff nationally
Strong understanding of compliance, verification, and vetting processes
Ability to manage high volumes under tight deadlines
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
