SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join their team in Gqeberha. This is a key role responsible for the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, with a focus on servicing industrial and commercial clients. The scope includes chilled water systems and chillers.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including chilled water plants and chillers.
Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and service callouts.
Diagnose faults and conduct troubleshooting on chillers and refrigeration systems.
Commission new air conditioning and refrigeration installations.
Ensure all work complies with company SHEQ standards and ISO procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

Matric or N3 Technical Qualification
Trade Test Certificate – Refrigeration Mechanic (Industrial)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC/Refrigeration systems
Valid Code 08 Driver’s License
Clear criminal record, with ongoing compliance
Safe Handling of Refrigerant Certificate – advantageous
Experience working with chillers and chilled water systems – advantageous
