POSITION INFO:
Regional Critical Services Manager – Vehicle Tracking – AA/EE – KZN
Position is focused on managing critical response services within the operational services as well as developing and maintaining partnerships and liaison with the provincial recovery structures in order to improve the recovery rate by means of gathering crime intelligence
Minimum requirements:
- National Diploma (N6) – Criminal Justice, Policing or Criminology
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in vehicle tracking systems, processes and procedures
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience / knowledge of the SAPS, SANDF, other law enforcement agencies or Private Security Industry
- Understanding of the Criminal Procedure Act, Firearms Control Act and Vehicle related crime in South Africa
- Clear Criminal Record
- Firearm, technical, tactical and defensive driving training and assessments
- Valid PSIRA Grade B & Armed Response Certificate
- Valid Firearm Competency Certificate
- Valid EB Driver’s Licence
- Experience managing a team of people
- Willing to work shifts as well as be deployed nationally into an environment that can be considered to be hostile and dangerous whilst working within the confines of a set SOP
