Regional Head - PMB KZN

SUMMARY:
A leading banking institution is looking for a Regional Manager for their Commercial division to join the organization. They are looking for a self-starter with strong sales experience.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose

To formulate and execute tactical strategy and associated delivery plans, ensuring business integration and operational implementation through the achievement of business objectives. Responsible for managing both the revenue and cost elements of the business income statement. Grow market share within the region by retaining/penetrating customer base with a view of increasing profitability.

 

Qualifications and Experience

• A completed Degree. Postgraduate Qualification is preferred
• 5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 2 to 3 years ideally at management level. A Manager of Mangers
• Area Manager/Segment head experience would be an advantage
• Relevant Product, Sales and Credit experience
• Can be required to represent the business as a Key Individual for FAIS

 

Key Responsibilities

• Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variances
• Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters
• Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth
• Anticipate and meet the needs of clients and commit to continuous development and entrenchment of a customer service culture
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions
• Focus on tactical service plans to deliver and continuously provide a consistent, seamless and positive customer experience
• Provide input into, and implement, corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in are of accountability in order to identify and manage risk exposure
• Contribute to the successful implementation of campaigns by setting standards and support execution
• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership
• Define and drive the tactical sales strategy
• Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadership
• Integrate business information, and compare, analyse and produce reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposes
• Set tactical goals and optimise the use of the people, finances and technologies in order to realize those goals
• Develop and ensure implementation of the organisation''s customer acquisition strategy.
• Manage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence
• Actively coach team through providing advice about subject matter, solutions, principles and processes, and personal progression with the aim to improve performance
