SUMMARY:
Our client in the Logistics Industry has an opportunity available for a Regional Operations Manager - Southern Region (Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KZN) to be based in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Grade 12/ Matric
Tertiary Qualification in Logistics/ Business Management/ Business Administration or equivalent (NQF 7) - recommended
Must have 7 years operational experience in Logistics and/or Operations
Must have 5 years managerial/supervisory experience in Logistics and/or Operations
Must have a Code B Motor vehicle license
Must have experience in Microsoft Office (Office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Must have an understanding of digital delivery platforms and e-commerce fulfilment
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Risk Management skills
Knowledge of the logistics/distribution industry
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

KPAs:

Plan to have the correct amount of drivers in the network
Ensure all clients SLA’s are achieved
Review and improve processes regularly to ensure effective service delivery
Establish, maintains effective relationships with customers
Manage operation team in the achievement of planned divisional objectives and targets
Manage the company’s risk exposure through identification and maintenance of risk control measures to minimize liability
Adherence to operational Health and Safety statutory compliance
