Regional Pest Control Manager - Kemptonpark

Education, Experience and Competencies:

Matriculation.

Current Registration Certificate with the Department of Agriculture as per ACT 36 of 1947.

National Diploma/Degree Business Management/Logistics/Operations Management.

Min 5-10 yrs Sales/Business Development & Management experience in Contractual Business.

Previous Technical Pest Control Experience an advantage.

Great team player. Good personal, interpersonal and communication skills & honest.

Presentable and confident at all times. Customer focused.

Valid driver’s licence

Excellent time management & Good Computer skills.

Track record in management of skilled/ semi-skilled labour.

Experience in Union negotiations.

Proficiency in Microsoft programmes.

Able to implement change and plan for maximum cost efficiencies.

Able to read and implement changes from statistical reports.

Competency in costing and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities and Functions:

Commitment to the environment when carrying out pest control services.

Multi-skill across all areas of pest control & quality control.

Auditing of Sites and Treatment Reports on Pest Control.

Fully conversant with Hazard Chemical and the impact of such.

Adhere to Label instructions per treatment of pesticides.

Identification of pests.

Accountability of stock and vehicle.

Know and understand Safety practices of Pest Control.

Managing of a treatment of sites.

Recommend and oversee correct treatment of any other sites as required in the best interests of the business and customers.

Weekly stock planning together with other Department’s to ensure correct and relevant stock issuing by the controller to the PCO''s and monthly vehicle stock takes.

Planning of the day-to-day pest control work and completing on time.

Ensure service records are completed correctly and returned to the office.

Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.

Ensure that client service levels are maintained to the highest possible standards.

Comply with, implement and maintain all company systems, policies and procedures.

Any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the employer''s business, as the employer may, from time to time direct.

Pay prompt attention to Customer Complaints and respond to all complaints within 48hrs.

Ensure smooth running of All Pest Control related services and queries and opportunities in Inland Region.

Strategic National Focus.

Management of operational assets including stock, vehicles, consumables, maintenance requirements of vehicles and stock.
