SUMMARY:
REGIONAL QA/QC OFFICER - MANUFACTURING FMCG
WESTERN CAPE - KLEINBERG
To oversee and manage the Laboratory and Quality Assurance processes on a daily basis for assigned sites,
ensuring that all company requirements relating to HR, Quality, Safety, Risk, Environment, Administration,
and Operations are met within each site’s laboratory and quality assurance environment.
Must have a valid driver's license due to travel to other branches
POSITION INFO:
Key Performance Areas
- Drive and implement regional Quality Assurance strategy in conjunction with the QA Manager
- Manage daily Laboratory and Quality Assurance operations across assigned sites
- Lead, support and develop QC / Laboratory teams across the region
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Risk, Environmental and operational standards
- Oversee HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, AFMA and regulatory systems across designated sites
- Conduct internal, supplier and third-party audits and compile audit reports
- Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints and root cause analysis, driving corrective actions
- Maintain QA documentation, procedures, reporting and quality management systems
- Support laboratory testing activities and provide technical support to site laboratory teams
- Manage QA budgets, laboratory consumables and related procurement activities
Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience- Matric (Grade 12)
- Quality Assurance or related qualification would be preferred – Bsc or Btec Degree with a major in Chem
- GMRs qualification where required
- 3 – 5 Years in a Senior QA or Laboratory role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of QA systems, ISO standards and laboratory processes
