Regional Sales Executive – Nelspruit

POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable person with excellent communication skills to join their team

Responsibilities:

• Promotion and sale of company products and services in the designated region
• Improvement of market position and achievement of financial growth
• Assist in defining strategic growth and promotional goals in the region
• Prospect and actively seek out new clients by networking, advertising, social media etc.
• Identifying business opportunities, negotiations and closing business deals
• Building product knowledge of current market conditions in the area
• Working with the service, marketing, parts department, and management to increase sales opportunities
• Manage existing relationships and ensure they are satisfied and maintained
• Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
• Participate in exhibitions or conferences
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
• Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals

Requirements:

• Knowledge of forestry is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• 2-years’ previous experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans would be advantageous
• Hands on experience with CRM software is a plus
• Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
• Passionate, enthusiastic, people’s person with genuine customer service skills
• Confident with an aptitude for delivering attractive presentations
• Willingness to travel
