Regional Sales Manager - East Rand, Gauteng

POSITION INFO:
Our client in the Automotive (Trucking) Industry is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the East Rand area to join their team.

Requirements:

Tertiary Sales qualification
Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
Code 8 licence and own vehicle
Excel, Word, PPT proficiency
Commercial/Truck Industry experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and advise on company policies for dealer operations, ensuring swift support for sales and aftersales departments.
Monitor and promote dealer network training, assist Dealer Principals (DPs) in creating training plans, and personally engage in programs to maintain expertise.
Mentor and support internal staff, establish backup plans, and maintain positive morale across branches and dealerships.
Ensure efficient work practices, clear communication, and adherence to high work standards to enhance skills and productivity.
Help dealers meet vehicle sales targets, resolve operational challenges using the PDCA cycle, and develop actionable business plans with regular follow-ups.
Control operational budgets, ensure timely payments, manage asset usage, and prevent waste.
Conduct at least six visits annually per dealer, providing detailed feedback, addressing branding issues, and resolving concerns.
Collaborate with the marketing team, oversee customer complaint resolutions, and support key account retention efforts.
Build expertise in specialized segments, share insights with colleagues, and represent the company within the dealer network.
Participate in industry forums to stay updated and share actionable insights for company growth.
