Job & Company Description:
This role sits within a dynamic and technically advanced
engineering environment delivering
end-to-end electrical and power solutions. The business specialises in everything from
power system studies and hazardous area design to manufacturing
MCCs, switchboards, PLC panels, and containerised substations, as well as executing
full turnkey EPC projects and field services.
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will take ownership of driving regional revenue growth, leading strategic client engagement, and expanding market presence across
mining, utilities, and manufacturing sectors. This is a leadership role requiring a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex solution-based sales.
Education:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in technical sales within electrical, EPC, or industrial engineering environments
- Proven track record in managing regional sales and delivering revenue growth
- Strong knowledge of power systems, MCCs, switchgear, automation, or EPC projects
- Experience selling turnkey solutions and engineered projects
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation and pricing strategies
- Leadership experience or the ability to guide and influence sales teams
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to drive growth and market expansion
- Lead business development initiatives across engineering, EPC, and service offerings
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across mining, utilities, and industrial sectors
- Identify and secure high-value project opportunities
- Oversee the full sales lifecycle from opportunity development to project award
- Collaborate with engineering, project, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Drive profitability through effective commercial and pricing strategies
