JOB SUMMARY:
A well-established manufacturing company supplying animal feed products into the agricultural and related markets requires the above to manage, develop and maintain business relationships with senior current and prospective key accounts as well as to generate new business within the industry for the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Tertiary qualification in agriculture - animal health or nutrition would be preferred for the role. (would prefer a BSc in Agric with animal health as a major)
Previous experience having worked as a Regional Sales Manager within the agricultural market is essential for the role.
Previous experience having worked within the animal feed / animal health industries is preferred.
Must be computer literate and ideally have knowledge on SAP.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing and driving the animal feed business on a national basis promoting their animal feed range of products to existing and new customers to achieve budgeted sales volumes.
Managing and driving a sales team to achieve their KPI’s.
Developing distribution channels for their range of products.
Supporting sales by holding farmer’s days and information days in conjunction with formal farmer bodies.
Developing and increasing sales by encouraging customers to purchase their range of products.
Liaising with producer organisations.
Building and maintaining good relationship with customers and stakeholders.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
