POSITION INFO:
A leading healthcare institution is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Midwife to join their Maternity Unit on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care ✔ Monitor maternal and foetal wellbeing throughout pregnancy and labour ✔ Assist with normal deliveries and support obstetric emergencies where required ✔ Educate and support mothers and families on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care ✔ Administer prescribed treatments and maintain accurate clinical records ✔ Collaborate with obstetricians, paediatricians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Minimum Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery • Current SANC registration as a Professional Nurse and Midwife • Minimum 2-3 years'' experience within a Maternity, Labour Ward, or Obstetric Unit • Current BLS certification • Computer literacy and experience with electronic health records Key Competencies: • Sound knowledge of maternal and neonatal care • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills • Excellent communication and patient care abilities • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment If you are passionate about delivering high-quality maternal and neonatal care and meet the above requirements, we''d love to hear from you.
