JOB SUMMARY:
Registered Nurse – CSSD Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Checking off-duties for CCCD staff and processing/approving timecards on Kronos
To arrange and conduct in-service training and training programs
To attend and facilitate Unit Orientation programs
To adhere-to and implement CSSD policies and SOP’s
Prevention of noise from equipment, instruments or trolleys
Have special regard for patients and working Theatres with regard to noise or opening doors
Ensure and maintain a high and effective working standard in CSSD.
Ensure and maintain up to date knowledge regarding cleaning methods and Theatre equipment
Ensuring staff adhere to and make use of protective clothing provided
Ensuring correct storage and use of cleaning materials
Handling of CAPEX and ordering of Equipment
Ordering of internal and external stock form Pharmacy
Capturing My Market orders
Loading of work orders on SAP

Education and Experience

Preferred

Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
Relevant qualification within a specialist area would be an advantage
2-3 years relevant experience within the Nursing discipline/CSSD
Previous experience within a supervisory role will be an advantage
