Looking for a Senior Registered Nurse with leadership experience in elder care for a Senior Living community in KZN Midlands.

POSITION INFO:

Senior Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to lead the operations of our clients village care and care centre,
This role is ideal for an experienced nursing professional who is passionate about high-quality elder care and team leadership, with
confirmed management and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure compliance with all healthcare legislation.
Lead, train, and manage nursing and home care staff.
Liaise with internal teams, residents, families, and medical professionals.
Manage medication, equipment, stock, and budgeting within the Care Centre.
Ensure high standards of resident care, safety, and infection control.
Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and community wellbeing.
Conduct home visits and support integrated care within the village.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with SANC.
Proven leadership and care coordination experience.
Excellent communication, clinical, and organisational skills.
Strong understanding of elder care best practices and OHS standards.
Previous Eden Alternative training would be beneficial.
