Regulatory Affairs Manager

SUMMARY:
Experience in professional pest control, turf management, home-garden pesticides, chemistry, environment, toxicology or administration of hazardous substances is required.
This position has the principal responsibility for the preparation of regulatory submissions of the companies products, label updates and petitions to the RSA & Sub Saharan Africa Regulatory authorities in order to obtain and maintain necessary regulatory approvals.

POSITION INFO:
Basic responsibilities:

• Provide input into new projects to ensure that regulatory requirements are met as well as to provide support to the Technical & Product Development Manager (and team as a whole) in the areas of quality control, stewardship and risk management
• Ensure that company product labels and other regulated documents and activities meet regulatory, legal, company and community expectations and requirements by coordinating their preparation and maintenance
• Manage the Regulatory budget

• Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Biological or Agricultural Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 Years Experience in the compilation & submission of regulatory dossiers and 5 Years Operating at a Managerial Level
• Working knowledge of RSA & Sub-Saharan Africa Regulatory requirements 
• Experience in professional pest control, turf management, home-garden pesticides, chemistry, environment, toxicology or administration of hazardous substances.
