JOB SUMMARY:

A well-established Agricultural company is seeking the above to co-ordinate and design labels for imports and exports, working in close collaboration across all key functions to ensure on time delivery of labels for production and that product labels are aligned to Regulatory & Registration requirements by managing relationships with external service providers such as label manufacturers and internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Supply Chain Planning, Country Label Coordinators, Registration, Technical department, QC department etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a relevant Degree/Diploma in Packaging Technology, DTP, Graphic Design or Design Management
Experience within the Agrochemical or Pharmaceutical industries would be preferred
Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop is essential
3-5 Years’ experience in Design & Artwork Management, working with Repro suppliers and printers will be required
A good understanding of Supply Chain Processes from New Product Launches to Design Management & Order Fulfillment is essential
Must have strong capability in various MS office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign or related Graphic Design Programs
Experience in SAP will be required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Ensuring on time execution of Design & Artwork development and Label coordination to support the business on Product Development.
Driving the implementation of policies and procedures across the sub-region for corporate governance and compliance.
Minimising business revenue risks in timeline execution of the relevant activities to support the forecasted demand.
Reviewing open orders and purchase plan with label vendor for label availability, aligned to the production plan.
Ensuring new and change requirements are fulfilled.
Creating a table of pending labels and communicating to the required groups to highlight risks and priorities.
Updating service providers regularly and making changes to artwork if necessary.
Initiating Management of Change (MOC) for label updates/new labels with the warehouse and validating the sign off accordingly
Maintaining a Share Point data base and integrating label specific data from the ERP/SAP.
Maintaining Label technical information regarding specifications, size, number of colors, technical restrictions and production requests into Share Point.
Conduct audits on label inventory to assess validity, usage and SLOBS.
Supporting the purchasing team by providing all the data needed on time and ensuring to receive printed packaging on time.
Engaging in S&OP forums regarding Demand Change Requests in relevance to Upside, Downside & Issue Resolution.
Communicating with the customer service, planning service and production for all change or blocking periods.
Conducting continual process training with all business units and new joiners nationally.
Minimising write offs and obsoletes.
Driving New Product Introduction meetings and related actions.
Engaging with Tolling Teams on Toll Outs, including the review and alignment of the process.
Reviewing imported supply PO's and ensuring labels are communicated to the supplying BU.
Driving changes to Bill of Materials and Master data process alignment.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience
