Duties:

Ensure all treaties are accurately accounted for in SAP in line with the signed treaty wording through the preparation of monthly and quarterly journals.
Preparation of annual MDP calculations and journals
Preparation of Annual MDP adjustment calculations and journals where necessary
Preparing Adhoc reallocation/correction journals
Preparation of sliding scale accounts to accompany the quarterly accounts where applicable.
Preparation of annual profit commission accounts
Annual preparation of treaty stats to assess the performance of the treaty
Preparation of annual MDP Adjustments Statements

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Honours in Accounting
New Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed Articles
2-4 years experience in the short-term insurance industry

Skills & Competencies:

Strong Excel Skills
Attention to detail
Communication skills
Problem-solving
Technical proficiency
