Release and DevOps Specialist

SUMMARY:
The Release and DevOps Specialist will be responsible for ensuring smooth, reliable and repeatable software releases from development, through to staging and production. It bridges the gap between development, QA and operations by managing release processes, automating deployments and maintaining a stable environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the release calendar, coordinating with products owners, Developers, and QA
• Plan, document and communicate release schedules and content
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Automate deployment to dev, staging and production environments
• Maintain dev, staging and production environments to ensure parity and stability
• Act as the first line of investigation for staging issues (deployment / config / data), escalating that true code defects back to the Devs
• Partner with QA to ensure that test environments are production-like

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps experience
• Hands-on experience with automated deployments for .NET / Blazor / SQL Server
• Strong troubleshooting skills across code, config and environment layers, and experience with source control
