SUMMARY:
Niche market Mpumalanga client who boasts more than 100 years in existence, servicing clients across the globe, is seeking an experienced Specialist-Improvement & Reliability Engineer. The Candidate will be responsible for supplying a support service to the engineering team in terms of improving availability, identifying root causes of failures, and implementing countermeasures to prevent failure.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• Min National Diploma Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3 - 5 years’ working experience in a heavy industrial engineering environment essential
• Project management skills
• Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) knowledge
• Understanding of Tribology and vibration analysis conditioned based monitoring
• Knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and ISO 45000
• Working knowledge of Reliability centred maintenance principles (RCM), Industrial processes & equipment as well as Maintenance management systems
