SUMMARY:
A well-known International Engineering Company requires the above to be responsible for Managing and Driving the Rental / Services Business for the Company within the Mining, Dewatering and related Industries for the South African and African regions. The successful candidate will strategically drive and grow the rental equipment business ensuring the business maximizes Shareholder value.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Tertiary qualification in either Mechanical, Civil, Mining or related is preferred.
Pervious experience having worked as a Rental Manager, Services Manager or in a related Management role is essential.
The successful candidate must have strong EQ with excellent people skills and previous experience in managing a team is essential.
The successful candidate must have excellent business acumen, understand management of Assets, with attention to detail, take initiative and execute, understand and interpret financial reports, take ownership and manage the business.
Pervious experience having worked on an ERP system is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

The successful candidate will manage the entire Rental Fleet of equipment withing the company, overseeing the maintenance and repairs,
Drive a preventative maintenance plan, overseeing breakdowns, fault finding of equipment etc.
Provide technical assistance and aftersales Service to Clients in all sectors.
Strategically introduce new products and applications to the market.
Grow the Wastewater, Dewatering, Slurry transfer, Dredging, excavation and Mine Dewatering markets.
Manage and drive tender specifications as per the customers’ requests and requirements.
Monitor monthly profit and loss statements, increase revenue and cost savings, drive sales and service teams to ensure the market is penetrated.
Conduct weekly sales and strategy meetings regarding the growth of the Division in the market.
Oversee and manage weekly inspection on ready to Rent and unavailable Equipment, manage and execute complete stock take and report back monthly to Senior Management.
Oversee and Manage planning in teams of customer Equipment required, liaise and manage customers on contractual issues, attending regular customer meeting at Head Office and site visits.
Develop Employees training, manage their performance and growth.
Have weekly revenue and order forecast meetings to ensure Sales are optimized.
Manage Dewatering and other growth areas throughout Africa.
