SUMMARY:
Seeking a Technically minded, hands-on technician who has repaired Diesel 2 & 4 Stroke Generators as well as Compressors in the East London Area.

POSITION INFO:

The ideal candidate will be physically good with working with their hands and fixing Tools and Machinery (Mainly Generators and Compressors)

We are in need of a young innovative individual to join our dynamic and successful company and to aid us in our technical department.

The ideal candidate must have technical knowledge, and hands-on experience on the repair of:

Wide range of Power Tools, Welding Machines, Compressors
Small Machinery i.e. Petrol & Diesel Engines, Generators
PC Boards (Added Advantage)

Desired Work Experience

2 to 5 years hands-on Maintenance & Repairs
Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12)

Job requirements:

Carrying out pre-delivery inspections, servicing, and repairs for Mechancial Equipment and machinery
Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
Requisitioning of spares and consumables as required and safekeeping of base stock

Desired Skills

Technical Repairs - Mechanical / Electrical
Good Mechanical hands-on knowledge
Must be able to communicate with customers in English
Must be detailed orientated
