A reputable integrated social payments and digital marketplace platform in Africa is looking for a Reporting Accountant to join their rapidly growing organization. The organization is part of a diversified Fintech group that offers access to social and financial services through technology.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Reporting Accountant will be responsible for reviewing the finance reports and implementing processes to help speedy up the monthly reporting deadlines as well as ensure compliance with corporate governance. The Reporting Accountant will be responsible for monthly flash reporting, monthly finance reporting, loan schedules and assisting with group consolidations and risk analysis. The successful candidate will also be responsible for financial systems and control, tax planning and compliance.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Honors in Accounting
Completed SAICA articles

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-4 years post article experience in a similar role
Experience in the Financial Services/Fintech/Insurance/Micro finance industries is preferred
Experience with HFM/Oracle/Sage/Pastel/Hyperion is preferred
Experience dealing with cross boarder payments and gateway payments
Experience dealing with mobile money is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
