SUMMARY:
Our client's advanced technology leverages more than 20 years of R&D history to manufacture a diverse range of isotopes. If you are analytic, have a strong mechanical background with a real interest in science and technology, this position is for you!

POSITION INFO:
The research and development technician will form part of the R&D team. The main objective of this role is to work with the team to investigate, understand, develop, and improve the separation technology. Additionally assist maintenance of the testbenches and facility.

Operation of test-benches – all experimental tests
Capture and report data
Suggest improvements and alternatives
Maintain the test benches and experimental facility
Calibrate instrumentation
Assist with quality control
Update SOPs
Research and development of technology

Requirements:

Scientific method orientated – organised, dedicated, accurate
Problem solving skills
Inquisitive

Interest in research
Dedicated
Willingness to learn and take advice from team members
Able to work under pressure
Computer literate – Microsoft Office minimum
Good communication skills
Technically orientated
Practical hands-on capability
Strong Mechanical background (Skills in pipe work, pump, compressor mechanics)
Experience with gas handling (recommended)
