Research Clinician

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Durban area is recruiting for a Research Clinician for a one year fixed term contract.

POSITION INFO:

Perform clinical activities within the research projects, including clinical assessments, specimen collection, laboratory results review, oversight of the safety of study participants, determine clinical eligibility, and administration of study protocol if relevant
Conduct clinical interviews and administer study questionnaires
Assess and manage AEs, EAEs and SAEs
Complete all study related documentation based on study protocol, operating procedures and GCP requirements
Ensure accuracy of clinical data collection/quality of data
Contribute to the conceptualisation of new research ideas

MBChB, with current HPCSA registration
Post graduate qualification advantageous
In-depth knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS care
Experience in network studies and health research preferable
Training in Good Clinical Practice will be an advantage
Computer literate in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
