Our client based in the Howick area is looking for Research Clinicians to join them on a 1 year Fixed Contract. 

Minimum Requirements

• MBChB
• Valid registration with the HPCSA as a Clinician
• Health research experience preferable
• Experience in HIV network studies highly advantageous
• In-depth knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment
• Research track record desirableCompetencies
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Analytical ability
• Attention to detail
• Strong team player
• Participant orientated
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Strong administrative skills

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform role of Study Clinician (including clinical assessments, safety reporting, eligibility assessments)
• Assist with study setup (SOP development, clinical source documents and forms)
• Quality assure study participants’ files
• Prepare Scientific papers/publications
• Participate in Journal Club
