🌱 Research Technician 📍 Location: Potchefstroom, North West 💰 Salary: Market Related We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician to join a dynamic agricultural research team. This role involves assisting with the planning, execution, and monitoring of crop trials while collecting and managing accurate research data across various agricultural projects. ✅ Requirements • 2 - 5 years' relevant experience • Agricultural Degree or related qualification • Strong Excel and computer skills • Valid driver's license (non-negotiable) • Fluent in Afrikaans & English (read, write & speak) • Willingness to travel and work overtime during peak seasons 🌟 Key Skills • Research-driven with strong attention to detail • Practical and technical mindset • Strong planning and organisational skills • Excellent communication skills • Self-motivated and trustworthy • Ability to work independently and within a team 🛠️ Key Responsibilities • Plan and monitor crop trials for Sunflower, Soyabean, Sorghum & Maize • Assist with planting, monitoring, and harvesting trials • Collect and manage accurate research data • Support farmer days and demonstration plantings • Assist marketing managers during planting and harvesting seasons • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all research information
