Join a global reinsurance environment known for technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. This role forms part of a specialist valuations team responsible for delivering financial and regulatory reporting across multiple international frameworks.
You’ll work closely with the Reserving Manager, contribute to system design improvements, participate in cross-border projects, and develop tools that enhance reporting, automation, and data insights. The organisation offers exceptional exposure to global standards, world-class actuarial processes, and cutting-edge developments in LDTI, IFRS 17 and Solvency II.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Support financial reporting on a US GAAP and IFRS basis
Assist with regulatory reporting for SAM and Solvency II
Engage with internal and external auditors during year-end cycles
Contribute to system design enhancements relating to US GAAP LDTI and IFRS 17
Analyse valuation data to generate business insights
Develop and maintain tools to analyse actuarial data and improve regulatory/management reporting
Produce and monitor management information
Participate in international actuarial and data system projects
Automate models and streamline business processes
Assist with valuation data analysis for experience studies and assumption setting

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

Degree in Actuarial Science
Nearly qualified / newly qualified actuary with solid exam progression

Experience:

3–6 years’ actuarial experience (valuations, reporting or reserving exposure beneficial)
Experience with IFRS, US GAAP, or regulatory reporting advantageous

Skills:

Excellent technical and modelling ability
Strong data and statistical analysis skills
Proficiency in MS Office and SQL; experience with large datasets
Knowledge of R, Python or AXIS advantageous
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Non-Negotiables:

Advanced IT and data skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High attention to detail and consistent pursuit of excellence
