Resort Operations Manager

A leading name in the leisure and hospitality space is on the hunt for an energetic and experienced Operations Manager to take the reins of their resort-based outlets. This unique and dynamic role oversees various on-site experiences – from wellness spas to adventure activities – as well as third-party vendors. POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Be Driving:
- End-to-end management of guest-facing outlets including spa, adventure, and outsourced leisure experiences
- Enforcing operational standards, policies, and procedures across all locations
- Full oversight of POS systems, controls, and compliance
- Strategic stock and asset management
- Hands-on involvement in recruitment, staff development, scheduling, and performance
- Managing budgets and financial performance of each outlet
- Regular travel to resort locations required – flexibility is key
We’re Looking For Someone Who:- Has a strong background in spa, adventure, or hospitality outlet operations
- Brings experience managing multi-site teams and guest experiences
- Is confident with admin, budgeting, and system controls
- Is proactive, analytical, and able to work independently under pressure
- Has a valid driver’s license and no issue with regular travel
- Is based in or willing to relocate to Port Shepstone (note: no accommodation is offered)
- Has excellent people skills and a strong command of English (spoken & written)
- Is computer-literate (MS Office, Excel essential)
