SUMMARY:
Luxury Restaurant Group based in the Rosebank area is looking for a Restaurant General Manager to manage their high-end restaurant.

The ideal candidate will have hotel industry and restaurant experience, would have managed a 200+ seater, fine dining restaurant as well as overseen a team of 50+ and have Micros & Opera experience.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Guest satisfaction on all aspects of food & beverage service
Liaising and hosting of guests, ensuring that all their requests are met and feedback is addressed appropriately.
Achievement of budgets and cost controls without negatively impacting the guest experience
Proactivity in maximise sales and revenue and generating new service ideas and products in line with current trends.
Training, development and leadership of the team, and ensure the team have excellent product knowledge
Maintaining the highest level of hygiene
Completion of all restaurant-related admin and reports

Requirements:

Experience within a 5* hotel/ restaurant.
Ability to host and comfortably engage with guests.
Micros & Opera system experience
Committed to service excellence and guest satisfaction.
Strong people management and coaching skills with a firm, fair and consistent approach to leadership
Excellent communication skills (team, management and guests)
Results and standards orientated.
Strong organisational and admin skills.
Excellent level of wine knowledge
Budgeting, procurement and cost control.
