JOB SUMMARY:
A luxury Estate in Stellenbosch is looking for a Retail Assistant to join the team. The British brand producing high-quality clothing requires the candidate to provide high-class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greeting customers who enter the shop
Be involved in stock control and management
Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for
Styling the clients according to their body type, etc.
Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
Stocking shelves with merchandise
Answering queries from customers
Reporting discrepancies and problems to the manager
Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
Balancing cash register with receipts
Dealing with customer refunds
Keeping the store tidy and neat
Responsible for dealing with customers complaints
Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands
Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor
Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12
Only Female candidates will be considered
Preferably 1 - 2 years’ previous retail assistant experience
Basic administration skills
Proficiency in English.
Customer service focus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to pay attention to detail
Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
Enthusiastic personality
Reliable and adaptable
Ability to work under pressure
