A Retail Buyer vacancy is available with a listed diversified retail group in the JHB Northern Suburbs.R1m + Performance bonus

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• Relevant qualification
• 7- 10 Years’ experience as aretail buyer with furniture exposure
• Excellent negotiations skills in dealing with suppliers
• Exposure to market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques

Duties

• Identify customer needs, preferences and trends
• Evaluate suppliers according to prices, quality and service track record
• Negotiate terms of agreements
• Identify and purchase new products 
• Ensure timely delivery of products
• Monitor stock levels
• Report on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction
• Build relationships with suppliers
