A Retail Buyer vacancy is available with a listed diversified retail group in the JHB Northern Suburbs.R1m + Performance bonus

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

Relevant qualification
7- 10 Years’ experience as aretail buyer with furniture exposure
Excellent negotiations skills in dealing with suppliers
Exposure to market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques

Duties

Identify customer needs, preferences and trends
Evaluate suppliers according to prices, quality and service track record
Negotiate terms of agreements
Identify and purchase new products
Ensure timely delivery of products
Monitor stock levels
Report on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction
Build relationships with suppliers
