POSITION INFO:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ØMust have relevant degree and min of 3 Years of current buying experience within a retail/wholesale/FMCG environment
ØExperience specifically within 1 of the 3 products mentioned.  
Ø Knowledge and understanding of healthcare related products
ØKnowledge and understanding of Financial indicators
ØExcellent communication skills Sound analytical skills Good negotiation skills
ØComputer literacy - MS Office & SAP experience will be advantageous
ØNumeric reasoning
ØAbility to build strong supplier relationships
ØProject management skills
 
JOB DESCRITPION
 Analysing sales of different products to ensure optimal ranging
ØDetermine trends related to changes in market/shortcomings
ØLiaise with suppliers
ØNegotiate trading terms to ensure maximum revenue and maintain a set GP 
ØManage supplier relationship
ØEnsure availability of stock
ØMonitor stock movement – correct stock received on time at the right place
ØControl short dated products
ØManage stock write-offs To ensure continuous promotional activity in the group by:
ØProject manage the promotions drives in the group
ØAlign with Marketing to ensure synergy
ØSet and maintain pricing
ØHandle branch queries related to pricing
ØTrack effectiveness of each promotion and react accordingly
ØTo ensure alignment between Healthcare related and Pharmaceutical products
ØAdvise on ranging
ØProduct selection
ØLook and feel
