Retail Food Buyer - Boksburg

SUMMARY:
Our client one of the big National Retailers is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their head office buying team to look after their northern region based in Boksburg .

POSITION INFO:

• Formulation & execution of category strategy
• Effective management of sales, profit, margin, stock turns & collections
• Effective management of ranges
• Build and establish strategic alliances with suppliers
• Identify local Supplier opportunities
• Ensuring cost savings & expense control against budget
• Management of quality products
• Foster relationship with Planner
• Conduct buying visits

Strong with figures and a solid knowledge of retail in the food sector.

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Bcom in Finance or similar
• 5 years retail buying experience
