SUMMARY:
Our client one of the big National Retailers is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their head office buying team.

POSITION INFO:

Formulation & execution of category strategy
Effective management of sales, profit, margin, stock turns & collections
Effective management of ranges
Build and establish strategic alliances with suppliers
Identify local Supplier opportunities
Ensuring cost savings & expense control against budget
Management of quality products
Foster relationship with Planner
Conduct buying visits

Strong with figures and a solid knowledge of retail in the food sector.

Qualifications:

Matric
Bcom in Finance or similar
5 years retail buying experience
