JOB SUMMARY:

An established retail store, specializing in Horse Feed, equipment and accessories is seeking an energetic Sales Assistant to assist walk-in customers and monitoring the sales floor, including inventory and displays.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a National Senior Certificate
A tertiary qualification or work experience, with a good track record would be ideal
Must be confidence with good communication skills and be able to work under pressure
Some experience in animal or agriculture would be preferred

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Greeting customers and offering assistance in the shop.
Recommending products or merchandise according to customers’ requirements.
Answering questions and addressing concerns.
Informing customers about sales, promotions and policies.
Demonstrating how products work.
Taking payments for purchases and packing purchases.
Stocking merchandise and creating displays.
Taking inventory and monitoring the sales floor.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
