A premium South African betting site have an amazing career opportunity for a Retention Marketing Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the online gaming and sports betting customer journey and lifecycle management processes. Your key job responsibilities as the Retention Marketing Manager in Johannesburg will include:

  • Have a complete knowledge and understanding of all products and facilities
  • Manage customer journeys across all touch-points and lifecycle planning, development and execution by conducting an analysis of past and current player activity over the last 12 – 36 months period
  • Track customer retention KPIs to optimise results
  • Facilitate the design and develop customer engagement and bonusing plans aligned to overall Online Gaming & Sports Betting Marketing strategy
  • Benchmark and conduct an analysis of competitor product offerings in the online gaming industry, aligning Campaigns and Bonusing according to customer segmentation
  • Have a thorough understanding of online gaming technology and bonusing tools to conceptualise, design and execute relevant campaigns
  • Perform a trend analysis and interpretation of current customer needs using business intelligence tools and data
  • Develop and manage plans for the implementation of the customer engagement strategy
  • Develop and manage plans for the execution of the VIP gaming strategy
  • Provide innovative concepts and customer insights to increase player activity, site visitations and revenue spend to online facility

Requirements for this Retention Marketing Manager job in Johannesburg:

  • Grade 12
  • 3-Year Degree in Marketing is an advantage
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in CRM, Loyalty and VIP Management preferably obtained in a gaming environment
  • Track record of customer journey planning and understanding of data mining and segmentation
  • Presentable, enthusiastic and self-driven individual with a natural preference for hosting and managing VIP customers
  • Knowledge of online gaming industry
