SUMMARY:
Reverse Logistics Manager_Mobile Telecommunications sector required for Dynamic client based in Buccleuch area be responsible for the full spectrum of our reverse logistics, repairs, and warranty processes. The Manager candidate will effectively manage the reverse logistics function, supply chain principles (including process or management after the sales of the products).

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Reverse Logistics Manager to be responsible for the full spectrum of our reverse logistics, repairs, and warranty processes. The successful candidate will effectively manage the reverse logistics function, be proficient at supply chain principles (including any process or management after the sales of the product), be a team player with experience in supply chain, reverse logistics and repairs preferably in the telecommunications industry.

Key Accountabilities

Take responsibility for the full reverse logistics function in South Africa and neighbouring countries.
Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure that the lead-times are optimised.
Have a clear understanding of warranty terms from suppliers (OEMs).
Analyse and report on the reverse logistics function in the business.

Core Activities

Ensure that all terms and conditions on repairs and OBFs (out-of-box failures) are met.
Ensure that lead-times on repairs is kept to an absolute minimum.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, OEMs, repair centres and couriers.
Communicate frequently with customers, suppliers, OEMs, repair centres and couriers.
Manage a team of up to 15 people.
Manage systems that track handsets.
Prepare and analyse daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Ensure adherence to all SLAs with customers.

Knowledge, skills and experience

Qualification/Certification in supply chain or reverse logistics would be advantageous.
Strong leadership skills.
At least 5-years experience in a similar managerial role preferably in the telecommunications industry.
Strong commercial acumen.
Experience in collecting and analysing data.
Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Experience on SAP and Vision would be advantageous.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
Strong analytical skills
