POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Produce detailed civil engineering drawings for roads, sewer, water, stormwater, fiber, and associated infrastructure projects Develop and maintain accurate CAD and BIM models using industry-standard software Prepare project drawings using standard templates, title blocks, scaling conventions, and layering systems Update and revise drawings based on engineering feedback and project requirements Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency of drawings and models Manage drawing documentation, version control, and project file organization Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure efficient project delivery Support multiple projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Skills & Experience: 0-3 years' experience in civil engineering drafting or modelling Skills & Experience: 0-3 years' experience in civil engineering drafting or modelling Exposure to a consulting engineering environment advantageous Knowledge of municipal infrastructure services including roads, sewer, water, stormwater, and fibre networks Ability to interpret engineering designs and produce accurate technical drawings Experience with CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit advantageous Familiarity with drawing management systems and version control processes Qualification: National Diploma, Certificate, or studies towards Civil Engineering, Draughting, or a related field CAD and\/or BIM software certification advantageous Valid driver's license Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
