JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Rewards Manager to join their team in Sandton. Our client offers a great working environment, stability, growth and an attractive salary with benefits.

As a Reward Manager, you'll be responsible for implementing and managing the company's reward programs. You will ensure that our employees are rewarded for their hard work and dedication to the business. You may also have responsibility for financial awards such as bonuses or commission payments. In addition to this, you'll review annual reports in order to identify any areas where we could improve our performance in these areas (eg Sales targets not met). You should therefore be able to analyse information from different sources (such as HR reporting etc)

Requirements

  • Provides direction, support, and oversight for the Global Rewards team
  • Conducts analyses to determine the correct reward allocation strategy.
  • Ensures that employees are properly compensated, recognizing the varying levels of effort in various business units.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant legal regulations.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all compensation practices and policies, continually researching and evaluating best practices.
  • Designs, implements, and maintains compensation systems and employee benefit programs.
  • Collaborates with individuals and organizations within the organization to address all internal and external needs associated with compensation, employee benefits, and recruitment/hiring practices.
  • Defines long-term strategies for compensation and benefits, ensuring the continuation of a consistent Receives, translates and analyzes complex project data from clients and internal sources into structured reports

Qualifications

  • Four years of experience in a management role and strong leadership skills as well as understanding of reward programs preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field required
  • Three years of experience in a similar role with proven track record of success.
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the rewards industry, including credit card rewards programs and loyalty programs.
