Risk Analyst – Wealth Distribution | Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

A leading financial services group seeks a Risk Analyst to oversee risk management for its Wealth Distribution division. The role focuses on independent operational and financial risk analysis, incident management, reporting automation, and system enhancement.

Key Duties

Plan & execute risk assessments (financial & operational)
Draft risk reports & escalate findings
Document & manage operational incidents
Enhance risk dashboards & reporting processes
Monitor risk tolerance & propose improvements
Build business relationships & supervise junior staff

Requirements

3–4 years’ experience in securities, investments, IT systems & risk within financial services
Relevant degree (CA, Actuary, Data/Math/Stats, Engineering)
Programming skills (advantageous)
Regulatory knowledge (FAIS Act, etc.) – advantageous
Risk/CFP/CFA designation – advantageous

Competencies Strong communication, problem-solving, resilience, attention to detail & proactivity.
